Axiom secured the top floor of Portland’s first mass timber construction to house their Creative Studio HQ. The intention was simple, to showcase and highlight Axiom’s in-house fabrication chops.

In collaboration with the owner and creative director, I lead the design and fabrication of the new design-specific HQ. As a creative studio, the goal was on offering multiple types of spaces for collaboration, focused work, presentations and happenstance interactions. We highlighted Axiom’s unique fabrication techniques and processes as much as possible through the entire design and build of the space—including custom furniture and lighting, to unique finishes and textures. The result is an inspirational and flexible workspace for creatives.
